Scholarships at St James Lutheran College
At St James Lutheran College, we believe every young person has been gifted by God with unique talents, strengths and potential.
Our Scholarship Program seeks to recognise students who demonstrate excellence, commitment, character and future potential while supporting young people who will contribute positively to the life of our College and wider community. The program is open to both current and prospective students entering Year 7 or Year 10 in 2027.
1. God Gives Gifts
We believe every student has unique gifts entrusted to them.
Some demonstrate exceptional academic ability. Others show outstanding potential in sport, the arts, leadership, service or other pursuits. Our scholarships seek to recognise these gifts and the opportunities they present.
2. We Are Called to Develop Those Gifts
At St James, excellence is not viewed as a destination but as a journey of growth, character and stewardship.
We seek students who demonstrate curiosity, commitment, perseverance and a willingness to continue developing their talents. Guided by our values of Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Honour and Trust (LIGHT), scholarship recipients are encouraged to use their strengths with humility, purpose and integrity.
3. We Use Those Gifts in Service to Others
Scholarships at St James are about more than achievement alone.
